Our work
Dr. Hector González and his team at the University of California, San Diego conduct the Study of Latinos-Investigation of Neurocognitive Aging (SOL-INCA). The SOL-INCA study is the largest study of Latino neurocognitive health and aging to date examining sociocultural, cardiometabolic and genomic risks of Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) and ADRD among diverse middle-aged and older Latinos. The SOL-INCA lab is supported by a multi-institutional team of new and experienced scientific investigators.

With the generous support of the National Institute of Aging (NIA), our mission is to discover innovative, practical and accessible means for understanding and maintaining cognitive health and aging.
